  3. Code Manager for Windows, the first file manager specifically
  4. for the Windows developer, manages files and finds text, 
  5. even in ZIP (incl v2.0) compressed files, across multiple disks 
  6. and directories based on multiple specifications for: file 
  7. name and directory (incl. true wildcards), text contents, 
  8. or DOS attributes. Once found, files can be copied, moved, 
  9. deleted, ZIPed, Un-ZIPed, backed up, launched, or viewed with 
  10. the included multi-windowing, large file, Code Editor or any 
  11. Windows hosted editor. Text can be found with regular expressions, 
  12. exact, or fuzzy matches. Boolean equations and proximity searching, 
  13. between delimiters, within a character count, the same line
  14. or same file, is supported. Additional features include:
  15. touch; which sets files' date and time to any value and global 
  16. replace, across all selected files. The program can be 
  17. automatically configured with the function keys, for different 
  18. tasks, including quick backups to floppy disk.

  21. Like Searcher v4.0, files which match any of your specified search 
  22. criteria are displayed in scrollable list boxes, which include the 
  23. file's name, path, size, date, file attributes, and the location of 
  24. the text string in the file. For text searches, the text string and 
  25. surrounding characters are displayed, while for "file only" searches, 
  26. the first line of the file is displayed. The files may be sorted by 
  27. file name, extension, directory, date, or size. Files which are 
  28. selected from the list may be ZIP compressed, unZIPed (incl v2.0), 
  29. launched copied, moved, deleted, have attributes modified, viewed 
  30. for text with the Code Editor, or any of over 100 included 
  31. icons, may be installed in the Program Manager for the files, in one 
  32. step.

  34. Code Manager comes with Free Launch and File Tree. Free
  35. Launch is a Task Manager replacement which launches, terminates 
  36. or switches the display mode of multiple applications, including
  37. hidden windows, in one step. File Tree shows your directory tree in 
  38. two dimensions, allowing you to initiate a search by double clicking 
  39. on a folder or by selecting many folders and choosing search from the 
  40. menu. Dropping files from Code Manager onto File Tree also initiates 
  41. a copy or move operation.

  44. clicking on the View button in Code Manager, the Code Editor is 
  45. automatically started and opens up to 16 windows of the selected files 
  46. from Code Manager's list box. If the file was found in a text search,

  48. Editor will edit multiple files, the size of which are limited only by 
  49. available disk space.
